Just two days aftertipped off on a possible showdown against the UFC’s biggest star Conor McGregor, odds are here to predict who’s the underdog.
At present, ‘Cowboy’ reigns one of the most active and decorated fighters in the history of UFC and holds the promotion’s record for the most number of finishes. However, his current plans are bringing him south for the winter, returning to fight at 155.

Last weekend, the 35-year-old welterweight made quick work of Mike Perry in the co-headlining act of the UFC Fight Night 139 in Denver. After his successful armbar win, Cerrone posted a controversial photo on Instagram captioned: “Just waiting on him.”
Speaking to the combat sports media, the pride of Colorado revealed that his submission win over Perry in Denver wouldn’t be this year’s biggest headline under his name. His lightweight return will be welcomed by an “exciting” opponent.
At the moment, all clues point to the former lightweight champion McGregor.
If the McGregor vs Cerrone matchup comes to existence, the latter will be the +150 underdog, according to the opening lines from Bovada.lv, against -185 for his “Notorious” opponent. However, odds will sway as the night of the fight gets closer.
Cerrone (34-11, 1) has held the upper hand since his Robbie Lawler fight at UFC 214.
In his post-fight interview at UFC Denver, the returning lightweight contender hinted on his next opponent.
