“There Can Only Be One King”
Tonight, the moment we have all been waiting for is happening before our eyes and this biggest fight in the history of MMA is nothing but the pure essence of the sport.
Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is facing UFC’s current and undefeated lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for UFC 229. This significant matchup is currently exciting every MMA fan all over the world.
To even spice us up and give us more reasons to wait for the results, UFC just released it’s most thrilling, and so far the classiest promotional video ever. John Malkovich voiced “There Can Only Be One King” just a day before the bout.
If you aren’t encouraged to stay late and experience the results first hand yet, you will be now.
“Will it be Dagestan or Dublin?”
Anyway, the hype on “The Notorious” and “The Eagle’s” fight is nothing less than incredible. We are all expecting for sky-high pay-per-view revenues and online engagements.
UFC President Dana White estimates the pay-per-view at around 3 to 3.5 million buys, making serious dollars for both excellent fighters. McGregor’s Octagon return is nothing short of what we have all predicted.
On a pre-fight conference, White stated:
“We’re estimating around 3 to 3.5 million (pay-per-view buys), I’d say I’ll close in around the $50 million mark.”
“So for a mixed martial artist – to make $50 million in a mixed martial arts bout, it’s quite breathtaking.”
Going back to the promotional video, legendary Hollywood actor Malkovich is giving us the feels of anticipating who between the undefeated fighter and two-division will be called king.
“A dream restored or hell unleashed?”
Here are a few lines from the 64-year old actor that will boost up your appetite:
“Tonight, the most anticipated fight in UFC history, the megastar, a two-division champion who personifies the heart of fighting is back.”
“To confront the greatest juggernaut, the lightweight division has ever known who has never lost a fight. Period.”
“This is how it should be. The best against the best. Everything right there for the taking. Legacy, greatness, destiny…”
“Will it be Dagestan or Dublin? The wrestler or the sublime striker? A dream restored or hell unleased?”
“Will it be what is? Or will it be what has always been?”
