Perfect for those who eat lots of fast foods.

But remember—there’s no point in eating fast food constantly and cleansing your liver and kidneys from time to time. For the long-term solution, follow a healthy diet instead. In the meantime, though, these two drinks will help you eliminate some of the harm from processed foods.

Okra Detox Drink

For those of you not familiar with okra, the flowering plant is also known as “lady’s finger.” The green seed pods are edible, and for this drink, you’ll need two fresh okras. Cut the ends and place the okras in water. Leave them there overnight, as they soak up the liquid.

In the morning, drink the juice on an empty stomach, approximately 30 minutes before you have your breakfast. Repeat for one week to get rid of the toxins in your kidneys.

Parsley Detox Drink

Parsley is the much better known ingredient in the cuisine world. To prepare the drink, wash some parsley, chop it into large pieces, and then put the pieces in a pot. Add four cups of water and boil the water over medium heat. Once the water boils, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat, drain, and store in the fridge.

Drink one cup every morning for a few consecutive days. As a bonus effect, this drink will also give you lots of energy.
