Jorge Masvidal silenced the sold-out crowd at The 02 Arena when he came out with a brutal finish of Darren Till in the main event of UFC Fight Night 147.
Till looked impressive from the get go, dominating the returning fighter in the first round while fighting inspired in front of the home fans.
But “Gamebred” found the nail in the coffin in the second round, drilling a powerful three-punch combo to the Liverpudlian that sent him down to the floor out cold.
It was a stunning end to the headlining bout, which saw Till as the clear favourite.
Masvidal defied the odds to win his tenth victory at the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

“Gamebred” hasn’t fought since losing to Stephen Thompson at UFC 217 in November 2017.
The 34-year old American is currently on a two-fight losing streak and has a 9-6 win-loss record at UFC. Prior to his last two losses, Masvidal scored a huge victory over UFC veteran Donald Cerrone, which earned him the Performance of the Night honours.
to dethrone Tyron Woodley at UFC 228 last September.
Till was submitted by the former welterweight champ in the second round, which gave him his lone loss in his UFC record and ended a six-fight winning streak that includes victories over Thompson and Cerrone.
On Saturday night, Masvidal announced his return with a brutal finish of the Liverpudlian, knocking him out cold in the second round of their welterweight showdown.

Dana wanted Jorge to:
Beat Maia and he didn't.
Beat Thompson and he didn't.
Lose to Till and he didn't.
Gamebred is always fucking up Dana's plans and we should really appreciate that.#UFCLondon
