Light heavyweight fighter Thiago Santos scored an emphatic victory at UFC Prague and now he wants a crack at the title.
The sixth ranked pulled off an upset over fourth ranked Jan Blachowicz, finishing him off in the third round with brutal strikes in the main event of UFC Prague.
Shortly after his impressive victory, the Brazilian mixed martial artist called out the reigning champion Jon Jones, saying he will beat him if he gets the next title shot.

Thiago Santos and Jan Blachowicz tussled in a light heavyweight showdown in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Prague, Saturday night. The former pulled off a shocker as he dispatched the fourth-ranked fighter, to earn his third straight victory at 205 pounds since making his debut in September.
Blachowicz started off the fight showing good defensive stunts, which made it hard for the Brazilian to find openings. He was able to land low kicks while attempting a takedown in the finals seconds to no avail as Santos defended it well.
Santos then continued to counter his opponent’s kickboxing with punches in the second round before landing a powerful right hook in the third that sent the Polish wobbling.
Taking advantage of the situation, Santos threw a flurry of strikes, giving Blachowicz a solid beating, which forced the referee to stop the fight.

The win boosted “Marreta’s” chances at title contention as he has won four of his last fight and has gone 8-1 in his last nine outings. He is 21-6 overall in his professional MMA careerwhile holding the second-most knockouts in uFC history with 11 finishes.
Santos has now only the next title shot in his sights and vows to defeat the eventual winner between Anthony Smith and Jon Jones in their upcoming light heavyweight title fight at UFC 235.
“Bones” will march on his first title-retention bid against Smith this March 2 since winning the title last December against Alexander Gustafsson.
The Brazilian striker is confident that he will come out on top against any of these two fights should the UFC grant him the next crack at a UFC gold.
“If it’s Anthony Smith, I’ll beat him again. if it’s Jon Jones, I’ll beat him too,” he said in the post-fight interview.
