This weekend was a busy one for combat sports, four high-level boxing events and two MMA shows dominated the headlines.
But it was in South Korea where many fight fans discovered a hidden gem this past weekend. Road FC 52 took place, with a welterweight clash between a man named Michel Pereira and a hometown fighter Dae-Sung Kim.
Pereira, also known as “Demolidor,” is a 25-year-old Brazilian with a habit of doing some really crazy stuff during his fights. He had first made the radar of hardcore fans last year, when a video of him doing the rounds showed him backflipping during an MMA fight.
It seems after that spat of attention last year, Pereira has decided to notch up the craziness.
Pereira Is An MMA Ninja (Video Proof Below)
To say his efforts at Road FC 52 were acrobatic would be a gross understatement. To put it simply, we’ve seen less crazy flips during an Olympic gymnastics training session.
He may only be 22-9-2 as a professional, but Pereira’s antics are certainly moving the needle for Road FC’s social media video views.
Pereira was even warned at one point for using a somersault that led to him stepping on his opponent’s head:

Pereira’s antics didn’t end there, he basically pulled out every insane move in the book:
