You read that right. A Sushi Master set his foot inside the Arrows Street Fight ring and fought two MMA opponents. Who would’ve thought this man could not only kick his ass in the kitchen, but also in a street fight ring?
Arrows Street Fights/STRELKA
The project “Arrows Street fights” started in the summer of 2011 in St. Petersburg. Anyone has the opportunity to take part in street battles without rules.
For battles allowed only amateurs and semi-professionals. After a thorough analysis of the data and capabilities of the fighters, the jury forms approximately equal in strength pairs.
In the battles involved men of different ages and social groups, which gives the project a truly popular and democratic character.
Cooking Uniform Off, Street Fight Uniform On
In this amateur MMA fight from the Arrows Street Fight, also known as STRELKA, we’ll see something a little different for a change as an alleged humble sushi master took on two different opponents in MMA all to promote his sushi restaurant.
According to the video description: ‘Sushi master comes into the ring to promote his restaurant. Crazy fight vs two opponents on the STRELKA.’
This Sushi master works in a Caucasian restaurant. He sacrificed his chef uniform for a while, a promotion in return.
Worth the Promotion?
The Sushi master did rapid work of his first MMA-opponent in the video below. With an impressive fashion and in such a manner that would make you wonder if he is just a humble sushi master after all.
He fought in a way that made him looked he has some legal training on some level. He had a striking-centred style too, which hinted a Muay Thai/kickboxing background.
Perhaps even a hint of some karate or Taekwondo in there, too.
It’s a Great Fight, Though
However, in the second fight, despite starting off strong, he ran into some trouble when the fight hits the ground. The second match wasn’t in his favour, but that didn’t stop him from proving himself that he’s more than a “Sushi master”.
With all of the hard-earned extra promotion, hopefully, his restaurant does well. Watch the full video below.
