Now you may be thinking, what- I can make a broom out of a plastic bottle? And the truth is that you absolutely can. You can easily create a quick clean-up crew using the bottles that are lying around your home. What you do is cut the bottle into a top half and bottom half. Then you take the top half- you won’t be using the bottom. Cut the body into long strips that hang from the shoulders of the bottle. You can then thread a broom handle through the bottle neck, secure it, and there you go!

When you do this, just make sure that you have some razor sharp scissors to hand, because if you don’t then you may end up causing a mess with nothing to clean it up with. Of course, when you are slicing the incisions on this it also helps to make sure that they are spaced evenly apart as well so that you can really create something special.
