All is Set for Ronda Rousey’s Return in WWE
The former UFC champion and now WWE star Ronda Rousey is set to return in the ring next month after locking down a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship.
Rousey will be facing Raw Women’s champion Alexa Bliss on August 19 on her return to the ring following a pair of suspension.
But the fight comes in one condition.
The face-off between Rousey and Bliss will come into fruition as long as Rousey behaves.
Last Monday, Raw general manager Kurt Angle served an additional one-week suspension to Rousey after interfering on Extreme Rules match Sunday night. That prolonged her hiatus as her suspension was about to end today, Wednesday. Rousey received a 30-day suspension after she attacked Bliss on Monday Night Raw.
Looking for Revenge
The upcoming fight between Rousey and Bliss has interesting storylines.
Rousey is surely itching to face Bliss in the ring after costing her a shot at a title last June. The former UFC star was on the verge of dispatching Nia Jax in their fight at Money in the Bank.
Rowdy was close to forcing Jax to tap out and won the Raw Women’s Championship until Bliss interfered and attacked her with a briefcase. Expect fireworks to explode when they meet in SummerSlam this August as Rousey will try to complete a revenge against Bliss.
This fight was confirmed by none other than Ronda Rousey in an Instagram post yesterday. The Baddest Woman in the Planet said that Alexa Bliss’ day of reckoning is coming.

Rousey signed a full contract with the league last January of this year. She made her debut at the WrestleMania 34, where fans and critics applauded her for a great performance.
Last month, she became the first female mixed martial artist to be inducted in the UFC Hall of Fame.
“Words will never express how humbled I am that you gave me the honour of being the person that made all this possible. I’m not the first person who had the ability to do this, but I am here because I’m the first person you took the time to watch.”
The former bantamweight champion won 12 consecutive fights in the UFC, with 11 of these were finished in the first round. She suffered her first defeat at the hands of Holly Holm three years ago.
