UFC 229 Melee

Nearly a week passed since Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor starred in the highly-anticipated UFC 229 at the T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Dagestan native welcomed the Irish star back to the Octagon with a fourth-round submission defeat.

MMA fans had been waiting for this action to happen for quite some time. And it did, even extending outside the cage.

Just after tapping McGregor out in a rear-naked choke, Khabib jumped out of the cage to attack the former double-champ’s cornerman, Dillon Danis. Danis was allegedly throwing offensive comments at him mid-fight.

RDA Vs Danis

Shortly after this incident, former UFC lightweight champion and current welterweight contender Rafael dos Anjos took the opportunity to challenge Danis, blasting him for his role in the post-fight melee.

Taking to social media, RDA wrote:

“This guy Dillan Dennis he is nobody, he just sucks Conor’s balls and hides behind him, that’s his job. He never going to make it, be on Conor’s corner is his career highlight.”

Danis didn’t waste a moment to respond to this challenge and bad-mouth. The Bellator welterweight fighter immediately accepted the dare saying, “Let’s meet up and fight.”

“Let’s fight then fuck commissions let’s meet up and fight you, p*ssy little bitch you give every fight you no heart rat.”

“Ask Your Dad”

It seems like RDA is up for the game after stepping up this rivalry into unrestricted terms. On the following tweet, he proposed a “winner takes all” cage fight.

“Why don’t we do like you said to Kevin Lee? I put 100k you put 100k I can go to your gym or you come to my, we jump in the cage with no time whoever walks out take the 200k #yourmove.”

The Brazilian mixed martial artist didn’t end it there, suggesting Danis gets his ‘dad’ McGregor to spot him the money. Danis is currently the Irish fighter’s jiu-jitsu trainer.

“Ask you dad @TheNotoriousMMA for money ;)”

This verbal fight better end in a winner-takes-all $100K cage fight for real.
