Youtube sensation Logan Paul believes that his vast experience in wrestling is enough to bring him in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The 23-year old American has issued a big challenge to UFC president Dana White and has named the fighter he wants to go up to. And it’s no small fighter. Take note: it’s Conor “The Notorious” McGregor.
Paul is no stranger in the world of sports. In fact, before he became a fixture in social media, he was a former standout at Westlake as part of the school’s football and wrestling team.
Currently, he is set to star in what could be the biggest event in Youtube’s history. The young talent will face KSI in a boxing match later this month at Manchester Arena.
But ahead of the boxing bout, Paul is already setting his sights on taking his talent in the cage.
In an interview with TMZ, the popular YouTuber did not only divulged his plans on fighting other celebrities. He also revealed
“I have two fights with KSI. I’ll beat him this time, I’ll beat him the second time and that’s where I can call someone out and expand.”
“I want to fight a UFC fighter. I wrestled my whole life. There’s no reason I can’t. I’ve done athletics my whole life.”
Calling Out the Promotion
After expressing his desire to become a UFC fighter, Paul immediately called out the promotion chief Dana White and asked for a legit fight next year.
“Hey, Dana White, you watching? Pick a fighter out for me, dude. Late next year.”
Paul then responded to the cameraman’s urge to call out a UFC fighter he wants to lock horns with.
His brother, Jake, added:
“I think it would be dope to see one of us fight McGregor!”
Logan then responded:
“That’s what I was thinking!”
