Pre-fight Weigh Ins Always Give Us the Unthinkable
In the Philippines, an MMA fighter made Conor McGregor and Michael Bisping an amateur as he did the unimaginable in a pre-fight tussle.
Both UFC stars are known for their trash talking stunts in the competition, whether it is ceremonial weigh ins, the actual matches, or pre-fight and post fight pressers.
But Kiko Matos, a Filipino fighter, took the weigh in antics to another level.
It is normal that someone might do something strange when his opponent gets into his nerve. But this one is beyond stepping the line.
During his pre-fight weigh in with rival Baron Geisler, Matos pulled out a bottle full of his own urine and sprayed a mist of it to his opponent.
After pulling off the stunt, he then shouted:
“Baron, drink my piss!”
Didn’t See that Coming
Geisler was caught off guard with the stunt and tried to distance himself with the situation.
Baron then shrugged it off and faced up Matos anew.
Instead of responding with violence, Geisler resorted to provoking taunts.
“Spray me with your love.”
URCC founder Alvin Aguilar later gave his comments about what happened in the weigh ins. He said there is no room in the league for such gross display of acts.
“I would never allow a sick display like that from any of our fighters even if they were just in an exhibition bout.”
“If that was really urine that would be unacceptable and I would pull Kiko out.”

Later on, Matos revealed that the spray was not urine but beer.
He admitted that the prank was all for show.
Their face off in the cage resulted to a draw, receiving mixed reactions from fans and pundits alike. Some claimed it was scripted while others demanded a rematch.
