Conor McGregor’s Cadillac Escalade has been seized in Ireland along with two other luxury vehicles, according to reports.
Irish Mirror confirmed that UFC star Mcgregor owns one of the vehicles that were towed away in Hatch Street in Dublin city centre on Sunday morning.
His black Cadillac Escalade, which costs around £75,000 ($99,400), was allegedly taken away because of the failure to be taxed, insured, or both.
A source told Irish mirror:
“This isn’t the first time he has been warned to sort out documents for that car.
“He was partying with some of his pals in a nearby location while the vehicle was being guarded.
“A tow truck took the vehicles to an impound west of Dublin’s city centre.”
Another source told stated that McGregor wasn’t arrested following the car’s removal, but he has already been warned to have his documentation in order since he is the owner of the vehicle.
The two other cars that were seized on the street were “black Range Rover and a Mercedes Benz jeep.”
Conor McGregor Ranks 4th Highest Paid Athlete in the World
In June, McGregor posted a picture of him on his official Instagram account.
Apparently, McGregor ranks fourth among the highest paid athletes in the world, with total earnings of $99 million (via Forbes.)
He says that he would have surpassed Christiano Ronaldo at third and Lionel Messi at second if he agreed to fight at UFC 224 in Rio De Janeiro last May 12th.
Meanwhile, seems like he still can’t afford to take the place of Floyd Mayweather who tops the list as the highest paid athlete in the world with total earnings of $285 million.
