Maycee Barber Is Taking over the Headline with Her “Contender Series” Result
Two 20-years old youngsters have won the heart of Dana White earning contracts on week five of the second season of Tuesday Night Contender Series. Among them is Maycee “The Future” Barber.
The Tuesday Night Contender Series is back in full swing as UFC officially posted the live stream play-by-play updates on their Twitter account. The fifth week of the 2018 season just wrapped up and Strawweight Maycee Barber didn’t fail to mesmerize the audience with her undoubted strength.

The 20-year old Strawweight spent her entire pro career in the very respectable LFA promotion. She brawled against Jamie Colleen in the main event.
The Result: (115 lbs) Maycee Barber vs. Jamie Colleen
Barber took her chance to step towards her goal of becoming the youngest champion in UFC history. She turned her dreams into a reality as she finishes her Contender Series returnee Jamie Colleen (4-2) with a third-round TKO.
Barber snapped kicks at Colleen while the returnee Colleen tried to counter her opponent’s kicks with heavy punches. Until Barber turned up the pressure in the final frame and finished the game with outkicks, lands punches and nasty elbows which caused the pouring blood on Colleen’s face.
The referee had seen enough, the final result? Maycee Barber vs. Jamie Colleen — Barber def. Colleen by TKO (elbows) at 4:15 of Round Three.
“We have a goal and that’s the timeline, but we’re just going to take it one day at a time,” Barber said of her plans to capture UFC gold. “We’re just starting.”

Barber received her first win during the LFA 14 – Rivera vs Sanchez event on 23rd of June, 2017 against Itzel Esquivel by Submission, Arm Bar, at 3:52 of Round One. Her next win was a bout with Mallory Martin at the LFA 22 – Heinisch vs. Perez event on 8th of September, 2017 with a unanimous decision at 5:00 of Round Three.
This young Strawweight fighter is keeping her records with W straights as she got her third win against Kaila Thompson at the LFA 33 – Willis vs. Stewart event on February 16, 2018, by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 0:31 of Round One.
Before she set her foot on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, she threw her last punches to Audrey Perkins on May 4, 2018, at the LFA 39 – Heinisch vs. Checco event. The result? TKO (Punches and Elbows) at 2:54 of Round Three.
Knowing that she’s only 20 and seeing these results will leave you in awe. Barber is a real deal!
