Five-Minute Drink to Lose 10 Pounds in 10 Days

Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon
  • Parsley
  • 1 glass of water

Instructions:

  1. Chop the parsley (using a blender or food processor, if you have one, would be even better).
  2. Fill 80% of a glass of water, and then squeeze one lemon in it.
  3. Add the parsley and stir.

You need to drink the beverage for 10 days in the morning on an empty stomach. After 10 days, take a 15-day break, and then you can drink the juice again. All of the ingredients in the juice boost metabolic rate and help you burn more fat and calories, all while providing your body with minerals and vitamins in the morning to start the day.

Side benefits of the juice include improved digestion (thanks to the parsley) and elimination of accumulated fluids. For those who want to kick things up a notch, drink the lemon and parsley juice in the morning and then in the afternoon, use green tea instead of water. Of course, the lemon and parsley are part of the afternoon drink as well.

One thing to note, though: if you are overeating, this drink won’t help.

  1. Losing 10 pounds in 10 days is DANGEROUS! Consult a dietician before going on big weight loss diets! Author, you should be ashamed of yourself.

    1. Is it? Do you have any references to back up your claim? What, exactly, is the risk? What harm can come from losing 10 pounds (mostly water) in 10 days? Do you have any science to backup your claim or are you just repeating something that you have read/heard somewhere else. There is a real danger in parroting information and pretending to be an authority when you have no idea what you are talking about. So, let’s see it…research papers, journals, articles written by experts…show us what you have. Otherwise, you should be ashamed of yourself for being so officious.

    2. I feel I must reply to that statement of loosing 10 lbs in 10 days is dangerous,I’ve just been in hospital for a gallbladder removal and I lost that and a little more in less than a week and I felt great.

  2. So, is the drink supposed to be consumed in the morning AND the afternoon or is the afternoon drink optional? Also, how much parsley should be added?

    1. Look up the 17 day diet, it worked for me. I felt great. I bought the book, could not get enough info on web.

    2. Hi Toni Tackett, I too have to loose wgt. for surgery that I need badly & I’m not able to exercise due to my health condition, I’m in my late 50’s. I have been using “MyfitnessPal” & homemade smoothies & after one month, the scale is Finally moving in the right direction

  3. I’m sorry but saying losing 10 lbs in 10 days is dangerous is a bunch of bull…people having bariatric surgery lose that and more in the first week after surgery and 30-50 in a month so save your unfounded comments for your own ears….

  4. It doesn’t say not to eat lol and it’s just Lemon and water mostly. I don’t agree with crash diets. However I don’t think this is one. It’s just adding the drink, Lemon water is also really healthy compared to soda, juices, and even coffee. I’d try this.
