YouTube sensation Jake Paul is following the footsteps of his brother Logan Paul as he also wants to dip his toes in mixed martial arts.
Two months after his brother revealed that he wants to fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the younger Paul expressed his desire to appear in the rival company Bellator, challenging its star and Conor McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis to a showdown.

The 25-year old Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner rose to prominence when Team McGregor made a recruitment coup in 2016 for Conor’s rematch with Nate Diaz. Danis and Conor Wallace were added to Conor’s training camp ahead of the fight, with the former in charge of improving the Irish Star’s ground game.
Currently, he competes in the Santa Monica, California-based MMA promotion, Bellator. He also trained The Notorious for his highly-anticipated clash with Nurmagomedov, dubbed as the biggest fight in UFC history.
His name was at the centre of controversy last month after he was attacked by the UF lightweight champion for allegedly hurling offensive comments, following Khabib’s fourth-round submission of ‘The Notorious.’
Danis boasts a strong resume. He currently holds a 1-0 win-loss card in Bellator and has won various chips in major Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition. He is also known as one of the best grapplers across all MMA promotions so it is safe to say that Paul would be a walk in the park for him.

‘I’d Beat Your Ass’
Despite these accolades, the 21-year old Paul is confident that he will destroy Danis in a fight. In a Twitter post on November 3, the YouTube star called out ‘El Jefe.’

As of writing, Danis has yet to give his response on Paul but Bellator chief Scott Coker had something to say about this challenge.

While this potential fight is expected to be one-sided, it could be a big cash cow for Bellator and for both fighters as the younger Paul has more than 17 million strong fans while Danis had quite made a name for himself.
