The Legacy Fighting Alliance provided a knockout galore on Friday night, which saw mixed martial artists putting their opponents to sleep with just one strike.
Luzi “Toninho Marajo” Gavinho earned himself a Knockout of the Year contender after sending Vince Fricilone into the shadow realm with a devastating flying knee while Flavian Pilgrim treated fans with a one-punch knockout of Sherwin Price.
In the main event, Harvey Park blew past Jaleel Willis, coasting to a first-round technical knockout victory that was protested by Willis’ camp to no avail.

One Punch Knockout
The Legacy Fighting Alliance headed at the Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico last Friday for the LFA 58, which was headlined by an intriguing lightweight showdown between Harvey Park and Jaleel Willis.
But things went exciting early Friday night as the promotion delivered a pair of stunning knockouts courtesy of Flavian Pilgrim and Luzi Gavinho.
Pilgrim was the first to steal the show at LFA 58. The lightweight prospect, who trained with UFC veteran, Donald Cerrone, ahead of the fight, fulfilled his promise of putting his opponent in a bad situation.

“I moved up with Cowboy Cerrone at the ranch, and that was probably the best move I could have made. He’s great to be around; he’s motivation, good energy, and always having fun.”
“I’m not going to break – I’m going to put him bad situations and see what he’s made of. I think I can beat him in any aspect of the sport. I just have to go out there, have fun, and let loose,” said Pilgrim.
He went on to finish Price in the battle of “The Albuquerque Rivals” after perfectly landing a nasty right hand to the jaw 50 seconds to the opening round, sending Price to the floor motionless.

KO of The Year
Following Pilgrim’s vicious one-punch knockout of Price, Brazilian fighter Luiz Gavinho delivered the best of 2019 (so far) in a featherweight match against Vince Fricilone.
“Toninho Marajo” needed only 40 seconds and killer flying knee to dispatch his opponent in a brutal fashion. The referee quickly called the fight off after Gavinho’s knee landed on Fricilone’s face.
