Since scoring the biggest win in his career against bitter rival Conor McGregor last October, Khabib Nurmagomedob has been travelling to different countries for his victory tour.
The reigning UFC lightweight kingpin has visited Turkey, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, and Kyrgyzstan and paid a courtesy call to these countries’ top leaders. Recently, Nurmagomedov flew to Saudi Arabia after being invited as a guest speaker in an event hosted by the non-profit foundation, Misk Talk.

Khabib Shares His Life Journey
Tasked to share his life experiences, the Russian champion visited Saudi Arabia last Saturday for an event hosted by Mist Talk, a non-profit organization established by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. According to Instagram page Za Khabiba, Mist Talk “is an interactive platform in which young Saudis and international leaders give short, inspiring conversations about their life travels.”
After becoming the first ever Muslim to hold a division title at the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Nurmagomedov is a perfect shoo-in to be one of its speakers. Khabib graced the event and talked about his journey in the world’s most prestigious promotion and his life as a champion.
“My belief in my abilities is far greater than my opponent because I believe in God.” he quipped.
“There are a lot of social activities where my friends do not participate and they accept it because they respect my principles and the way I live as a Muslim rather than a disciplined athlete.”

Khabib Says What He Thinks
One of the highlights of the event was the question and answer segment between ‘The Eagle’ and the audience. The crowd was caught off-guard when the lightweight champion responded to a question about female fighters aspiring to enter the MMA world.
One fan asked: “I have a question, for people who want to get to the fighting industry, what tips do you recommend especially for females.”
Khabib then replied with the usual Khabib response: “For females, I have a very good advice, be fighter inside your home. And I think, my advice, all the time finish your husband. Smash him really bad,” sending the crowd into earsplitting cheers. Watch the scene in the video below:
