After recording the fastest knockout in Ultimate Fighting Championship history, Jorge Masvidal is solidifying his campaign for a massive paycheck for his next fight.
Masvidal essayed a rare milestone at UFC 239 as he delivered the fastest finish ever in the UFC with a five-second knockout of former Bellator and ONE championship standout, Ben Askren.
The welterweight contender became an instant star online as MMA fans were all praises for him for rewriting UFC history books.
With his stocks now soaring high, Masvidal is keeping his eyes on a bigger prize as he wants to earn a ‘red panty night’ in his next outing.
‘Gamebred’ has expressed his interest in fighting the UFC’s biggest draw in Conor McGregor but the promotion chief, Dana White, has shut down this potential bout.
But whether it will be against McGregor or Nate Diaz, who called him out last Saturday at UFC 241, the viral fighter is keeping his hopes high that he will cash in.

Reflection Of His Breakthrough
With Masvidal not getting a title shot, his friend, Colby Covington, is now on track to fight for the welterweight title.
On this, Masvidal expects the UFC to at least pay him big bucks.
The Miami, Florida native said this paycheck will be a reflection of his breakthrough at UFC 239 or else the promotion will face a huge problem.
“My next paycheck is going to reflect the breakthrough that I’ve done. For a fact. And if it doesn’t, there is going to be a f—king problem,” Masvidal told the media, per MMA Fighting.
“Me and my management are going to do whatever the f—k I say.”
“I’m going to repeat that again: Me and my management will do whatever the f—k we think is the best option for us.”

Continuing, ‘Gamebred’ quipped that he would even fight King Kong as long as the UFC would give the right price.
“If they open up the check book, I will fight King Kong in his prime.”
“All they gotta do is open up that check book. You guys all know the reason why you guys are here right now is to get an interview off of me, to put it online to make people go click-bait on it.”
“Obviously I’m generating traction.”
Masvidal would more likely face Diaz next over McGregor as his team thinks this matchup would be a massive treat for the fans.
“I believe so. I believe that’s a good fight, I think both of these guys will go on, put on a show for everybody and I think that’s what we all want,” said Masvidal’s manager, Abe Kawa.
“If you’re a fight fan, this is like Christmas for everybody. Everybody.”
