Jon Jones While He Waits for His USADA Results
The former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones expressed interest in participating in a grappling match while he waits for his USADA, United States Anti-Doping Agency, situation to get sorted out. Jon “Bones” is facing a four-year suspension as a second-time offender.
He tested positive for the steroid Turinabol in an in-competition drug test in relation to a title fight with Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 in July 2017. Another failed drug test in 2016 when he tested positive for two anti-estrogen agents and served a one-year USADA suspension.
But this never stops him to have another match while he’s in the midst waiting.
Jon Jones Shots Fired Dillon Danis with Savage Responses on Twitter
When a fan asked him if he’d like to participate in another of Chael Sonnen’s Submission Underground shows, Jones responded with “I’d be so down @FloGrappling who’s trying to get tapped out?” via Twitter.

Bellator’s newest welterweight fighter Dillon Danis who just made his debut against Kyle Walker couldn’t keep his mouth shut and put his name in the hat. “I could submit you and [Brock] Lesnar in the same night,” Danis kickback in response to Jones in a tweet that he deleted after that.
24-year old Danis assured that he’d make quick work of Jones if they met in grappling competition. Together with former UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar in the same night.
Okay, that was a brave move right there!
The internet has debated all the answers and questions if Jones would fall into Danis words. Until on a late Sunday night, Jones broke the silence by firing Danis shots with his savage replies.
“Dude you want to just suck my d*ck already and get it over with?” the former UFC light heavyweight champion said to Danis in a tweet that has also got deleted. Check the screenshot of Jones’ reply to Danis below. Courtesy of Tom Taylor via Twitter.

Take note, this is not the first time Dillon Danis has called out Jon Jones. In 2016, Danis made several calls for a grappling match with Jones, but none of these bouts ever came to fruition.
“He wants to step into my realm, but he doesn’t understand. I would play with him. My jiu-jitsu is a different level. Let’s be honest, Dan [Henderson] is about 45-years old and has two submissions out of 47 fights, but [Jones’ performance] was OK, I guess,” Danis told The Mac Life in 2016.
“He’ll need to beg me. I don’t show up for just anybody,” Danis added.
But Jon Jones didn’t buy all of Danis’ statements as he didn’t respond to any of his callout tweets. However, a callout from UFC lightweight and BJJ black belt Gilbert Burns on Twitter snatched his attention.

“That was years ago when I trained Vitor against you! Almost done but I would love to get that chance! And finish @FloCombat @FloGrappling @JonnyBones.”
In response to Gilbert Burns, Jones said:
You should have taught him the defense to the americana ☺️🤙🏾 https://t.co/k0feycKwpm

“You should have taught him the defense to the Americana.”
Hmm, this sounds interesting! But it’d be more interesting if the two fighters didn’t delete their tweets, don’t you think?
How about a bout between Jones and Danis in the future? Do you think it might happen?
