Jarrell Miller Says He’ll Beat Anthony Joshua And Take His Mum Out On Date

Anthony Joshua’s team has reportedly held out a heavyweight championship match for Jarell Miller’s taking on June 1 at the Big Apple. Taking a step ahead, the American boxer has now started trash-talking AJ; targetting his mother.

Joshua Vs Miller

Joshua’s potential match against the 30-year-old heavyweight will serve as the unified world champion’s American debut. According to Ring Magazine’s Mike Coppinger, Team Joshua has formally handed down an offer to Miller for a second-quarter showdown.

“Sources: Formal offer made to Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller for heavyweight championship fight vs. Anthony Joshua on June 1 at MSG. Sides sit several million dollars apart. The fight would be streamed by DAZN stateside and serve as Joshua’s US debut,” the sports journalist wrote on Twitter.

Miller is unbeaten in his 24 professional bouts; making his matchup against the WBA (Super), IBF and WBO heavyweight world titleholder more appealing. The New Yorker said he wants the heavyweight showdown to happen in his soil after calling out AJ in December.

“Madison Square Garden is the Mecca of boxing. I don’t care what anybody says. If AJ wants to come to America, this is the place to do it, and I’m the man to punch him in the face,” Miller said in an interview with Sky Sports.

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn also thinks an AJ Vs Miller showdown would be something special.“I do know that Anthony Joshua against Jarrell Miller at Madison Square Garden would be something very, very special,” Hearn said.

Take His Mom Out

Taking the first shot, the New Yorker didn’t hold back in firing his potential opponent with verbal bullets. Recently speaking to SiriusXM Fight Nation, Miller said he plans on dating AJ’s mom after beating him.

“After I beat AJ, I’m still gonna take his mom out on a date,” ‘Big Baby’ said.

Despite this, AJ’s possible rival revealed that their teams had not yet reached an official agreement on a Madison Square Garden fight. However, he said he will not allow it to end on a draw once signed.

“I don’t want it to go to a decision and I don’t want a Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder fight. I wanna finish his behind. No excuses. That’s it.”

And while most boxing fans want to see AJ fight Deontay Wilder more than Miller, the ‘Bronze Bomber’ is nowhere near agreeing to the unification match. His eyes are set on meeting Tyson Fury on the opposite of the ring once more.
