Following a scuffle at the Bellator NYC Conference, the American mixed martial artist expressed his disgust over Silva’s rude action towards Chael Sonnen.
Jackson is clearly pissed off.
Jackson took to twitter to vent his disapproval on Silva pointing his finger straight into the face of Sonnen in the said presscon. He also gave Silva an idea of what is going to happen when they meet in the cage this September.
He said that ‘pointing finger in someone’s face’ is rude and will not do the same to him. Instead, Jackson wants to put his fist to his a few times and find out how the Brazilian fighter would like that.
The Rampage and the Axe Murdered will lock horns in a heavyweight match this September. The fight will be held at SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Prior to this fight, Jackson claimed that there has been little improvement on Silva.
“I didn’t notice anything. I don’t study the guy.”
While for his part, Jackson claimed he has been doing a lot of different stuff since they last encounter nearly 10 years ago.
“A lot of stuff changed. I’m bigger now. He looks smaller. I think we both went in opposite directions in weight. I think that’s one thing that’s changed.”
Although he has the upper hand in terms of weight, he still believes that Silva is a dangerous opponent.
In their three meetings, Silva has won two outings via knockout before Jackson scored one also via TKO.
With their fourth meeting set to happen, the Rampage is confident that the favors will work in his way again.
“I was really proud of myself, because I always knew that I could beat Wanderlei if I had the right training and stuff,” he said.
“This time, I have a great team behind myself again, so I see the (fourth) fight going in my favor again,” he ended.
