Plus, who doesn’t like a good massage with some nice-smelling oil? You can rub this under your eyes and not only does it help to eliminate dryness. That’s just one of the many reasons why cucumber slices are ideal for placing over your eyes, and you’d be surprised at how great this is for your skin. The first thing that you need to do is cut off around ¼ of a cucumber and then put it into a blender. It’s important to know that when you do this, you want it to be chunky. If you don’t have a blender then don’t worry, you can easily take a fork to a cucumber and mash it up a little. Apply the cucumber mash to your eyes and keep it there for around 15 minutes. You can then remove the mix with some very warm water and then pat your eyes with a soft towel.
What isn’t avocado good for? Avocado is known for containing carotenoids and this acts as an antioxidant. This helps you to get rid of any free radicals, which as you probably know, can be very damaging to your skin. Avocado is also packed full of Vitamin C and Vitamin E, and these two are ideal at helping to stop under eye wrinkles from forming in the first place. Avocado also comes with monounsaturated fatty acids, and when applied to the skin, they soften and tighten over time. So it’s great for your eye health generally.
If the idea of applying a vegetable to your face is confusing, you’ll be interested to know that avocado is not even a vegetable. It’s a fruit.
