Gabi Garcia Wins Latest Fight & Gets Called Out By Elderly Japanese Woman

Another New Year’s Eve, another wild and wacky show from Japan’s RIZIN Fighting Federation. RIZIN 14 sees Floyd Mayweather & Tenshin Nasukawa’s “Exhibition Fight” as the main event…

The Saitama Super Arena, Japan’s Mecca of fighting, hosted RIZIN 14 today. It was, as expected, a bizarre event from start to finish. The Japanese method of putting on shows is truly incredible to watch, albeit with their strange twist of colourful and lavish entrances and promo videos.

    Gabi Garcia’s Latest Fight Was…Weird

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion-turned MMA fighter Gabi Garcia was back at RIZIN 14 this evening. She faced Barbara Nepomuceno on the main card and things got strange after the fight’s finish.

As the bout went to the ground in the opening frame, Garcia was able to pick the arm and nearly break it off for the submission win. Watch that video below:

Then things got even weirder. 54-year-old Shinobu Kandori, Garcia’s scheduled opponent from last December, entered the ring. Gabi was set to face Kandori last new year’s eve, before the Jiu-Jitsu ace missed weight by a whopping 30 pounds.
