80-Year-Old Man Builds A ‘Dog Train’ To Take Rescued Homeless Dogs Out On Adventures

Nothing can beat an 80-year-old man building a dog train for homeless dogs. It’s time to feed your timeline with what may be too much cuteness courtesy of Eugene Bostick and The Dog Train!

If you want to know how this adorable dog train started, then keep on reading!

The Story of Mr Bostick and His Adopted Dogs

Meet Eugene Bostick, an 80-year-old man who lives on a 3-acre land in East Fort Worth, Texas, together with his family. His home is located on a dead-end street with a horse barn.

According to Bostick, people have dumped dogs in their land, leaving the strays there to starve or die ever since they lived there. And while those owners abandoned these dogs for good, Mr Bostick and his family did what they have to do—take countless animals and several stray dogs under their care.

After his retirement, Bostick and his family spent their time taking care of their adopted animals in their land every single day. Not only do they supply the doggies with daily food, but they also take them to vet trips.

Nothing makes me happier than knowing there are still selfless caring people in the world 💞🐶🐾 80yo Eugene Bostick from Fort Worth, Texas retired 15 years ago and built a unique train to take stray dogs on an adventure. "We live on a dead-end street where people come by and dump dogs leaving them to starve. So we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live." Over the years Bostick has taken in countless abandoned dogs. More than just keeping them safe he's found an adorable way to keep them happy too. www.dailymail.co.uk/video/news/video-1216391/Man-builds-dog-train-stray-mutts-adventures.html #dogadventures #kindness #care #selfless #human #eugenebostick #fortworth #texas #hero #rescue #dogs #train #kind #happy #straydog #compassion #adoptdontshop #sweet #caring #stray #dog #puppy #mutt #happiness #bekind #save #straydogtrain #love #rescuedog #realmenarekindtoanimals

Even in his 80s, you can tell that Bostick is indeed a lively and energetic man. However, due to the countless dogs that he needs to take care of, he needed extra help to carry them on to go on trips.

Despite initially needing help, Bostick did the unthinkable. Now you have to watch out for this dog train! Bostick has then decided to build this dog train mainly for these dogs so he can bring his pooches out on adventures. How cute is that!

I mean, if that’s not the best retirement job in the world, then I don’t know what else is.

He came up with this idea after seeing a guy driving a tractor with carts filled with rocks. The tractor inspired him to use the same concept for the dog train.

What he did was he took plastic barrels, cut them, attached wheels underneath and tied them together. Since he is a skilled welder, it wasn’t difficult for him to bring the adorable idea of his to life.

The Dog Train Went Viral

Unsurprisingly, the dogs love to ride on the dog train! A usual ride approximately lasts for an hour and 30 minutes, and they go along the Sycamore Golf Course, which is just at the back of the Bostick property.

Needless to say, every time the train passes by, golfers stop and take pictures of the happy bunch riding on the train. And with that, Mr Bostick’s dog train has earned some attention, locally and on the internet!

Bostick has never planned to become a dog train driver, but according to him, it’s a fulfilling thing to do, and it’s something that keeps him going.
