The ex-professional boxer was thrilled to have sealed the fight and is confident it could be a big treat for their fans.
“This will be huge for sports fans around the world. Ortiz and Liddell are two of the most recognized fighters in MMA history. They are legends in the sport.”

“Oscar said, ‘Let’s get this done.’ I said, ‘Let’s get this done,’ and it took about 2½ months to make Chuck happy enough to make it happen, and it’s signed,” stressedd Chuck Ortiz.
Liddell, on his part, offered the same sentiment about the deal.
“It feels great to sign a deal, to be honest with you. It’s as exciting as I knew it would be. Golden Boy offers something different. We’re partners in this. And I never get sick of punching Tito.”
Their rematch at the UFC 226 brought a huge financial success as it sold a total of $5.4 million in game attendance. It then became the ninth highest grossing MMA fight held in Las Vegas.
