UFC president Dana White, as usual, didn’t mince his words after UFC 232. It was a great night of fights, giving White a little more ammo to blast his rival Oscar De La Hoya…
Dana White’s ongoing beef with Oscar De La Hoya has seen both men launch slanderous tirades at each other. It all started when White’s biggest star, Conor McGregor. entered the boxing banter in a highly unexpected fight with Floyd Mayweather.
Dana White vs. Oscar De La Hoya
“The Golden Boy” slammed his MMA equivalent for matching McGregor against Mayweather in the boxing ring. Shaming the UFC president and the fight, which he labelled a ‘circus,’ De La Hoya claimed White had no business entering the world of boxing promotion.
Then, in an eerily similar display, De La Hoya entered the world of MMA promotion with an eerily similar ‘circus.’ Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz clashed for the third times in their careers on the inaugural Golden Boy MMA card. Needless to say, White ripped the daylights out of the former boxing champ for making this fight.
De La Hoya went as far as to say White was underpaying his UFC athletes and that Golden Boy MMA would pay better.

Dana White Wants To Do Battle
After a busy weekend in Los Angeles, California, Dana White took some time to shred Oscar De La Hoya, as per MMAMania.com:
”See what we do this year. Wait til you see what happens with Oscar De La Hoya in the next three years. You guys know me, some of you have known me for a long time. You wanna battle? I’m your guy. I’m your guy. Let’s do it.”
Perhaps that fight, that Oscar De La Hoya challenged Dana White to, could happen after all:
“Sounds defensive, let’s get in the ring. Why not? Three rounds, let’s do this, we can do it on the Canelo card on May 4th. I will even give you five months so you can get off the juice. We can get in great shape and we can go three rounds. I am giving you a fifty-pound advantage, but it’s OK I can take you on. Let’s do it. Oh wait, he has never laced up a glove in his life.”

White’s arguably best line was:
“He’s a phoney and God help anybody who wants to go fight for Golden Boy. These fighters are grown, men and women. All they have to do is take one meeting with Oscar De La Hoya and they’ll see what he knows about MMA, which is absolutely [expletive] nothing.”
“The guy wants to come out and tell lies and say things that make no sense when he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He knows nothing about this sport. He doesn’t know the [expletive] guys’ names who are fighting on his card. He’s a liar.”
