“Daniel Cormier Could Be The Next UFC President”

UFC’s heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier made history afresh after successfully defending one of his belts against challenger Derrick Lewis in the main event of UFC 230, Saturday night.

Fans at the Madison Square Garden and PPV audience witnessed the still-heavyweight champ tap Lewis out via a second round rear-naked choke as predicted. The 33-year-old fighter made no excuses for his obvious defeat.

Before, DC is breaking people’s expectations of him as an underdog. Now, he is living up to them and UFC Dana White couldn’t be any more impressed.

The head of the promotion is clearly impressed at how his reigning double-division champion performed against Lewis. More so, White is adding DC’s in the greatest of all time rank.

White also thinks DC can literally do anything, even hold the highest position in the promotion.

“He can do anything. He literally can do anything.”

Since the champ-champ is planning to retire early next year and wants to fight Brock Lesnar before doing so, the executive says he’s not forcing DC to fight anyone he doesn’t want to. It may even mean Stipe Miocic isn’t getting his well-deserved rematch if DC denies him to.
