Donald Cerrone has inflated his hunger for Conor McGregor after teasing the date of his rumoured match vs the ‘Proper Twelve’ whiskey dealer. If he is stating a fact, then we’re seeing ‘The Notorious’ and the ‘Cowboy’ in one cage at the UFC’s biggest card of the year.
Reports of McGregor’s Octagon return on July 6th in Las Vegas, Nevada to headline UFC 239 concluding this year’s International Fight Week has been looming in the past few days.
After Cerrone’s latest Instagram post, fans couldn’t help but assume that the ‘Cowboy’ has just confirmed the Irish star’s rumoured comeback.

Budweiser Vs Proper Twelve
To the mixed martial arts’ community’s surprise, Cerrone has posted a cryptic message on social media implying his upcoming showdown against the former two-division champion. He has even teased a date on when fans should expect it to happen.
Posting a photo of a bottle of Budweiser, one of Cerrone’s sponsors, sitting next to a bottle of Proper Twelve, which of course is McGregor’s own whiskey brand, ‘Cowboy’ wrote:
“@budweiser vs @properwhiskey 🇺🇸 🇮🇪 July 6th”
The former two-division champion has also previously hinted his return on Twitter, saying that he is starting another sequel to signing up with the UFC in 2013.
