Colby Covington, UFC’s newest welterweight champ, thinks he could teach a thing or two to the NFL and NBA teams.
After seizing the title, the trash-talking fighter invited himself to the White House to celebrate his belt with Donald Trump.
Right after putting the welterweight belt on his waist, Covington immediately taunted other American sports champions and said he will present his victory to the White House as a ‘real American.’
To follow up on this much-awaited visit with the head of state, UFC president Dana White was questioned if there is a way it will come to pass.
Here’s what he has to say:
On another succeeding interview, Covington said he will gladly accept the offer to set foot on the presidential office, leaving more verbal strikes to winning NBA and NFL teams who didn’t do so.
“Of course, I’m taking him up on that offer! I mean, what a disgrace, the Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia Eagles are. They’re a complete joke, a bunch of losers.”
Covington slammed who he called the ‘silver spoon’ NBA and NFL winning teams for allegedly ignoring the president’s invitation.
“How dare you not kneel for the national anthem, how dare you not accept President Trump’s offer to the Office.”
“Go try playing sports over in Puerto Rico, go try playing sports in Brazil. You wouldn’t get all this treatment you would get here.”
“These silver spoon athletes and they think they’re so tough. They act tough on Trump. Come act tough to me, I’m over at Coconut Creek FL at America’s Top Team.”
“Come see me you little pencil neck geek Kevin Durant, you pencil neck little bitch Steph Curry.”
