Conor McGregor’s Teammate Who Got Sweet Chin Music KO’d Is Fighting Tonight

The Bellator 217 fight card is stacked with Ireland’s top talents for tonight’s DAZN/Sky Sports stream…

James Gallagher is looking to make the necessary adjustment as he tries to bounce back from his first career loss in the main event showdown against Steven Graham. Gallagher, who trains with UFC megastar Conor McGregor, saw his four-fight win streak come to an end at Bellator 204 in August, with Ricky Bandejas pulling off an upset win.

All eyes will also be on another SBG Ireland product in Peter Queally, who will take on his former teammate Myles Price in an all-Irish clash in the co-main event.

The pair have not been in good terms following Price’s shocking transfer to American Kickboxing Academy to train Khabib Nurmagomedov ahead of UFC 229 and Queally is itching to give, what he called, the “traitor” a big reality check in their fight.

James Gallagher Weighed In & Looked Just Like Conor McGregor

Fans may remember “Strabanimal” James Gallagher for his wild similarity to Conor McGregor.

He basically mimicked McGregor for the entirety of his pre-post-and mid fight antics against Ricky Bandejas.

Unfortunately for Gallagher, it did not end well. Bandejas landed a WWE style Sweet Chin Music kick on Gallagher before sending him to the mat for the knockout win.

Here is Gallagher weighing in for the Bellator 217 fight card that goes down tonight. He looks a HELL of a lot like his SBG teammate Conor McGregor:

But Remember What Happened Last Time

The last time Gallagher played the McGregor card he got royally flattened for his efforts in an incredible viral moment. You can relive that below, but first check out the quotes from Peter Queally and Myles Price. After transferring to AKA from SBG and helping Khabib train for McGregor, Price has been blasted by Queally as a traitor.

Their Irish feud comes to a head tonight too:

“It’s the same as any other fight to me. I think any other fighter that’s psychologically on point is more than likely going to be thinking like that. It’s a fight like any other. It could be at the start of a card, it could be at another show.” Price told Pundit Arena

Whereas Queally said: “Everyone knows what he has done. People can say what they want, but Ireland’s greatest sportsman was preparing for the biggest moment of his career. And this guy, an Irishman, a former team-mate, spent his own money to travel 5,000 miles to go help his opponent.”

“It’ll be my crowd. He will get booed out of the building. Mark my words. This will not be a split crowd. This is my crowd. He is not an Irishman.”
