Banana and Ginger Smoothie for Weight Loss

With obesity becoming such a huge problem for kids and adults all over the world, weight loss supplements have become one of the most expensive luxuries. But why use chemical compounds when you can always go the natural way? Every nutritionist and weight loss expert will tell you that the natural way to lose weight is better, since you are not only losing weight, but promoting a healthy lifestyle that will help prevent obesity in the future.

The two main ingredients in this smoothie help you lose weight on their own, and when combined, they create a powerful beverage. Bananas, for example, contain healthy nutrients like fiber, natural sugar and antioxidants that keep you full and nourished throughout the day, helping you avoid cravings for sugar. At the same time, bananas provide energy for your body, promote good digestion, and balance your blood sugar level. Ginger, on the other hand, increases your metabolic rate, kicking your metabolism into overdrive to burn more fat.

I tried this. Like the taste but it’s too thick. Can you add orange juice or almond milk to help thin it out some?

Agreed, there has to be a liquid missing from this recipe. Plus, mine is purple from the blueberries. I have no idea what she has pictured above.

My liquid of choice would be unsweetened almond milk. I also noticed it was lacking a liquid and was going to make this in the morning adding almond milk.
